The abode

Our little 350 sq ft. cottage was built in 1948 and consists of items ranging from the Victorian era to about the 1960s. Fueled by the love of history and the obscure we tried to implement museum like qualities in our home with oddities and various trinket and nature collections. I adore the Victorian era but I hate the pastel, floral and doily aspect of it. I wanted my home to give off more of a gentleman's study feel, you know, chesterfield sofa, animal skin rug, the smell of old books. I'm not quite there yet, but I'm content with what I've been able to do with my tiny space and very limited budget.
